Another vertiginous and woozy game, Rayman has
returned as a real treat with a bouncy, buoyant and fast sprinting. Now
enjoyable even on touchscreens, Fiesta Run is an incredibly fun game thanks
to its engaging recipe of immersing players into a colorful and endearing
environment with a whole lot of new experiences yet to come.
In this moving-along-the-side game, you will control Rayman as he is trying to collect as many goodies as he can by quickly bypassing the enemies. It’s a really comfortable game for pick-up-and-play immediately, so we can appreciate that with a quite beautiful look to it.
By not being a hard game at all, you can really immerse whenever you have some spear time and close it whenever you don’t. You can always pick up later where you have left off without losing any touch to a gameplay. While collecting all the Lums will come with certain benefits, it is not an easy task. You might as well memorize each stare’s layout and that way collect all 100 of them, but keep in mind you will unlock harder tasks on each stage.
If you are looking for more challenging stage remixes, the ones where monsters and foes are increased, while some platforms are completely removed, definitely give Fiesta Run a try.
There is a way to acquire special abilities and boosts so you can make the gameplay suitable for your personal style which will help you through the stages. Hearts and flying punches will be included in those special boosts and you can even set a line to guide you, so you don’t miss out on Lums! Collect as many Lums as you can to unlock and use another new character from the set and you can see exactly how many Lums you need to a certain character. In case you are concerned these special boosts will affect your gameplay, they are optional, so you don’t need to pick them up.
You can balance the difficulty up to your own pace and play just the way you want. Once you collect all the Lums on the level, you will unlock and ultra-hard remix of the stage.
Rayman Fiesta Run is as good as its predecessor Rayman Jungle Run, and overall, it’s an exciting, spunky and addictive game. It may seem as loosely mirrored as the console title Rayman Legends for rescuing Teensies, the gameplay is not so important since it is great for killing time and practicing your overall reflexes.
Although it might seem a little too familiar, with extra challenging boss battles and remixed invasion stages, Rayman Fiesta Run will give you balanced difficulty as you are already expecting with a few new twists included. You can also spend cash on characters that you want to play with, but they are only with a few aesthetical changes than your main character, or with a new color scheme. If you are expecting different abilities with different characters you will be disappointed.
