Introduced by Invulse Games, the game’s inspiration comes from some of the greatest titles like Borderlands, Diablo and Torchlight, bringing the adventure to our devices. Bear in mind that the game is still in development and new stuff will be added pretty soon.
There is not much revealed about Unsworn yet, except what is given in the trailer and the game looks promising and full of potential. You can check out the gameplay trailer and pre-alpha footage and see from that the game could potentially have a big problem.
It could easily be just another endless pointless top down shooter. Although the game feels and looks amazing, the footage that is given shows us that developers didn’t make this game a turn based on real game. Unsworn will include at least three classes, different weapons and items, diverse skill trees and that way justify its name.
The story unfolds when Earth’s resources are almost gone and humans in colonies are trying to find a new home. The colonists finally reach a planet Kinon, which is filled with raw materials.
Fair enough, humans will discover a race intelligent aliens living on this planet and they will establish a pretty shaky trust agreement which will later on end up in war.
You will be playing as one of members of the Omades Collective, which is a group of mercenaries that are living in the gray area between humans and aliens. Both aliens and humans are you enemies and your mission is to accept participating in great danger.
You will start to doubt your allies once the story progresses while ancient secrets of Kinon shine over. Since Unsworn is still a work in progress since 2013, it is still in development of ideas and you can find their fundraiser on Kickstarter where the developers are asking for $60,000 with plans to release Unsworn on PC/MAC/OUYA/Android.
