The smash-hit single player sci-fi war game War Robots has made some interesting revolutions in the genre.
War Robots is a competitive game that requires team and individual strategy to raise chances of victory. As such, it is heavily inspired by vehicle-driven titles such as World of Tanks Blitz.
For example, the player’s job on the team can affect their efficiency. To do this, they need to choose a robot that suits their style of play.
From speedy fighters to brutal hulks, there’s a vast range of robots in this sci-mic game.
As of right now, War Robots has 71 different models to choose from, and they are constantly releasing new players as time goes on.
With so many robots in War Robots to choose from, it can be tough to decide which is the best one for you. Fortunately, this list has some of the best ones that stand out to us.
Two major offensive playtypes exist at the moment and they both have their strengths and weaknesses. The Ambusher relies on camouflage or attack while they go undetected, whereas a Tank deals damage through brute force alone.
Tanks have a relatively high health & armor stat and tend to sacrifice speed for these attributes, which makes them easier to target.
Ambushers are fast robots that are aggressive in the attack and tend to take on the bulk of enemy fire.
What Is The Best Robot In War Robots?
Siren
Class: Medium
Ability: Snowstorm
Weapon Slots: 3 (1 Light / 2 Heavy)
Max Speed: 38 KM/H
The Siren may seem like a straightforward robot, but it’s equipped with three weapon slots. It supports both low and high-damage weapons which makes it the perfect all-rounder.
When it comes to armor durability, this machine is fairly tough and is a good choice for tank-role players. Its only downside is its low speed.
That said, the cherry on top of the Siren is its ability, Snowstorm. When flying high in the air, the Siren absorbs 80% of incoming damage and reflects 30% back at its opponent.
If that was not enough, it also has an Ice Missile which creates a damaging zone in front of the Scout. Enemies are damaged per second and have slow have their hitpoints drained. Combine this with high protection and the Scout becomes one of the most effective Tanks or Defenders in combat.
Typhon
Class: Heavy
Ability: Blackout 2.0
Weapon Slots: 4 Medium
Max Speed: 43 KM/H
One War Robots’ latest additions, Typhon is a versatile robot named after the Greek creature that was half-serpent and half-dragon. Apart from spinning blades and heavy firepower, it also has flying capabilities.
The Typhon’s special ability comes in the form of three high-voltage energy weapons. They disable the opponent by disrupting their ability, keep them from moving, and reduce their weapon damage respectively.
All four of the Typhon’s medium weapons are extremely powerful, though they have limited ammo. Fortunately, they don’t need to worry about reloading while their teammates can dish out some serious damage and then high-tail it to the next battle.
Invader
Class: Medium
Ability: Incursion
Weapon Slots: 3 (2 Light / 1 Medium)
Max Speed: 40 KM/H
The Invader is one of War Robots’ most original heavy robots. For one, it’s the only four-legged robot that can jump! This unusual movement system makes it surprisingly mobile for a heavy weapon user. It has other standout features too.
But one drawback of the Invader is that it has fairly low firepower for a heavy robot in War Robots.
The Invader has only two light and one medium weapon slot, so you may find that the output of damage is lacking. However, it isn’t a weak robot, and a great option for players who prefer to last in battle and have a fast-paced style.
Falcon
Class: Medium
Ability: Fangs Out
Weapon Slots: 3 Heavy
Max Speed: 40 KM/H
Falcon is undoubtedly the most important robot in War Robots. This robot has three heavy weapon slots for shooting at the top of the game.
That said, the Falcon’s abilities are more defensive in nature and it also has abilities that can help increase ambush potential. Fangs Out temporarily removes the damage resistance features to increase damage and speed. This makes the Falcon suited for offensive strategies.
Behemoth
Class: Medium
Ability: Siege Mode
Weapon Slots: 4 Heavy
Max Speed: 34 KM/H
While the Behemoth may seem like just another medium bot, it actually is the game’s toughest. It can survive a lot of punishment and thus is usually preferred over other bots. It has a downside, though: it’s slow, meaning you’ll have to be quite skilled in order to really take advantage of its strengths.
However, players should not let this fact discourage them. The Behemoth’s defense is one of the highest out there, at the expense of its mobility. But it can still dish out a lot of damage with 4 heavy weapons that are very powerful and accurate.
